THE GOOD, THE UGLY, THE BIKER

Maybe it's because we love travel since childhood, because we grew up dreaming of infinite horizons and the incredible deeds of Indians and cowboys. Maybe it's because Morricone's music echoes in our heads and we were born in the land of spaghetti westerns, where fantastic scenarios are similar to those designed for Tex Willer. It will therefore be for these, or for others 1000 Reasons, that we have read tons of comics and seen hundreds of movies and those atmospheres belong to us.
That is why once again we will jump on our steel horse, with the helmet tucked on as if it were a wide-brimmed hat, to immerse ourselves in this new adventure. We will leave behind the daily quarrels, immersing yourself in a world of formidable dreams, between canyons, snakes, gold mines, Prairies, bandidos, Spratt cakes and steak high head and shoulders with a mountain of fries (as the mythical Tex says).

"The Good, the Ugly and the Bikers" is a lovely new experience: a Western-Rally, a motorcycle trip suspended between dream and reality, between the present and the myth of the Far West.

All this can take place in Abruzzo without resorting to artificial sets or special effects, but simply jumping on the saddle of your two-wheeled mount and immersing yourself in landscapes that were the scenery of countless extraordinary "Spaghetti Western", still immaculate and wild.

"The Good, il Brutto e il Bikers" is a holiday full of exaggerated fun, riding terrific and gargantuan stuff myself along with a fabulous colorful tribe of friends unsatisfied party. An event that is an authentic hymn to the overwhelming joy of Bud Spencer and all those heroes who nourished our imagination and desire for adventure.

And you're ready to step into the part? Who you will be? An Indian or a cowboy? A bandit or sheriff?

Every day there will be two routes:
– one on asphalt for road bikes
– One mixed asphalt/natural roads for all-terrain/enduro motorcycles

But we will all converge in highlight places, to find ourselves every time with joy in front of something good, while often a surprise will lead us back to the western atmosphere.

PROGRAM

Thursday, 2 June

Comics: until sunset beyond the canyon: Welcome at our pillbox, Hotel Lilys' Flowers right at the foot of Big Stone National Park, then dinner of the Bandit. Afterwards we will find ourselves around the fire smoking the calumet of peace and examining the maps of tomorrow, and finally – for those who do not will already be completely drunk – before going to sleep, Powwow until late at night.

The movie of the day:
– from 18,00 forward: Welcome at the structure that will serve as the basis for any event, TheHotel Fiordigligli, at the foot of the Gran Sasso; registration, delivery of material, accommodation in the rooms;
– hours 20,00: dinner menu of Abruzzo specialities prepared cow-boy
– hours 22,00: briefing on the routes (the road one and the off one) of the next day. – Followed by western movies and chatter for the most night owls.

Friday 3 June

Comics: we will try to leave before the sun warms the desert too much! Along the track camp with snack Sioux, then to "Mezzogiorno di Fuoco" exactly, for all of you stunners, a ladle of beans with other Yankee delights – real dynamite for your tripes! Then back in the saddle, towards Strong Field, where we can expect another stage to whet the guts – Ahoy, You Cowboys or ballerinas?! Before sunset return to camp, and – after a healthy tub of hot water – for those who will have deserved it, there will be a dinner with bows! Then everyone around the campfire, to study the maps of tomorrow, for Judas!

The movie of the day:
– hours 8,30 differentiated start for both groups, asphalt and enduro. Mid-morning snack with typical products.
– lunch time: we are in the exact place where the immortal scene of the bean in "Lo Chiamavano Trinità" was filmed, and so on for us beans, pork rinds and sausages!
– in the afternoon: still distinct routes for asphalt and enduro.
– hours 20,00: dinner menu of Abruzzo specialities prepared cow-boy
– hours 22,00: briefing on the next day.

Saturday 4 June

Comics: Down from brande wimps, or should I let you taste my Smith&Wesson?! But don't frign too much: after making you eat a lot of dust, we'll give you a cup of broth in the manner of the fugitives, but then the Rodeo awaits you. Show what you are worth! In the evening we will make sparks with a big country party seasoned with a high dinner that we will grill from us like hungry wolves, and then return to our fort with an unforgettable gallop under the stars!

The movie of the day:
– hours 8,30: departure for both groups, asphalt and enduro. Mid-morning snack with typical products.
– lunch time: tasting of local products, and then departure for the RODEO!
– in the afternoon, even asphalt for racing cyclists and powder for Enduro, to prepare for the BBB highlight event, the arrosticini from the mythical "Mucciante", with a spectacular sunset drop-off for even more festive tastings of local delicacies, with music, western dances and the award ceremony of the cowboy and the cow-girl 2022.

In this regard, do not forget to put western or Indian clothing in your luggage, the legendary Abruzzo saddlebag is up for grabs, a condensation of the best things in Big Stone National Park.

Sunday 5 June

Comics: After days so, even gallows pendants like you will feel a bit of nostalgia, or not?! Then vamonos, for one last ride together, with stops at every Saloon along the track, before cutting the rope giving us an appointment for the next few moons!

The movie of the day:
– Hours 8,30: departure for the last delightful little trip all together, going to discover truly incredible places and other delicacies to say the least special ...

– Hours 12,30 about: we will say goodbye with a nice TOAST – see you at the next adventures!

To ensure the highest quality of event participation is limited,

The fees are:

Option 1) from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June: Euro 210,00 per participant/pilot (Euro 150,00 for any participant/passenger, only for ASPHALT route) for all tasks as specified below;
– the services of board and lodging at the hotel in agreement -three nights (in double room) with breakfast and dinner- for an amount equal to Euro 210,00 to participant (both pilot and possible passenger) will be paid directly on arrival;

Option 2) Since Friday 3 to Sunday 5 June: Euro 150,00 per participant/pilot (Euro 110,00 for any participant/passenger, only for ASPHALT route) for all tasks as specified below;
– the services of board and lodging at the hotel in agreement -two overnight stays (in double room) with breakfast and dinner- for an amount equal to Euro 150,00 to participant (both pilot and possible passenger) will be paid directly on arrival.

The participation fee includes:

  • all material of the event: stickers, patch, gadgets, informative material, etc.,
  • all refreshments and tastings and entertainment activities included in the program,
  • the Travel-Book and the .gpx tracks of all the scheduled routes,
  • coordination and a "broom" service along the way,
  • luggage transport as per program,
  • a contribution to general expenses of organization.

Registrations will close on 25 may, or in advance of reaching the maximum number of participants.

The registration fee, in case of non-participation, is non-refundable, but is transferable to other participants not registered yet, by communication within hours 12,00 on Friday 27 May.

The route – ASPHALT

All streets of remarkable beauty, from the point of view from that of driving pleasure, with itineraries around 300 km per day: but to us that they care about is that they are all of high quality, interspersed with pleasant stops and visits whenever they deserve it. Will be provided a detailed "Travel-Book" and the paper trail and GPS.

In first day we will make you travel the most beautiful roads of Abruzzo, the SR17 near Popoli used for a famous uphill time trial, and we'll bring you back to eat the beans at Emperor's Field, where scenes were filmed "they call me Trinity". The tour will continue towards the Lake of Campotosto, then walks down the gorgeous Capannelle Pass.

The second day It starts, Lago di Scanno, through the amazing "Gole del Sagittario", to go down to Lake Barrea with a hearty snack. Don't overdo it by filling your finger... at the restart the incredible curves of the Passo del Diavolo and the beautiful Forca Caruso Pass await you. Finally the appointment there is to point your caravans towards Fonte Vetica, where there are kebabs from Cook.

Thelast day, the path is common, everyone will bring their horses to Roman excavations Peltuinum of Prata d'ansidonia. Refreshments with regards to all participants, to bring their foals in the barn.

NO passenger in the ENDURO route

It is a path of "medium" difficulty, for the length of the strokes on SUVs and light for the technicality of certain passages, so it is recommended to drivers already have media experience in off-road, and with reasonably carved tires.

You will see what a wonder: long hours seem to be on the slopes of comics and movies, alongside Tex Willer and Clint Eastwood, between immense landscapes of beautiful mountains and wild, Maybe deserted, if it weren't for some Sioux probably camouflaged in the bushes – it is no coincidence that these areas are also known as the Italian "little Tibet".

The Last Day, the path is common, everyone will bring their horses to Roman excavations Peltuinum of Prata d'ansidonia. Refreshments with regards to all participants, to bring their foals in the barn.

Taken into account the beauty and hospitality of the territory that hosts us, as organizers of "the good, the ugly, the Biker "we expect, by all participants at the event, a test specimen of that attitude of attention, curiosity and concern that distinguishes the true mototravellers.

Then, beyond the Regulation true that it will be accepted by every attendee at registration, We care that it is well clear some general principle.

First of all, the meeting was purely tourism, to discover a region of fabled beauty, inhabited by people of extraordinary kindness, that with commendable strength are resisting the destruction of earthquakes that meet several times the bleeding wounds.

We will live this experience with enthusiasm and grace that it deserves and that inspires, leaving behind us a faint imprint tessellated and a beautiful memory, that prelude to numerous goodbye.

So the Organization reserves the right to refuse, or dismiss at any time, in its sole discretion, the presence not in tune with the spirit that.
